For over one hundred and eighty (180) years, The Mico has taught this nation; training student teachers in areas of Humanities & Liberal Arts, Education and Science & Technology. We are especially delighted to say that we are now a degree granting institution, providing twelve (12) undergraduate degrees and five (5) graduate programmes, which are all accredited.
The MUC has much to be proud of as we have remained the leader in teacher education in Jamaica and the region. We have a diverse and dynamic community with a well-established sports programme. The institution boasts the housing of the Cameron Blazers Track Club, which has produced world champions.
